Ministries

	Women’s Ministry Our women’s ministry meets the first Sunday of each month at 4pm and is led by our Pastor’s wife, Jamie Marona. We love coming together studying God’s Word and sharing how we can apply His Word to our daily lives and our women’s ministry. We pray the Lord will continue to open doors for our group of ladies to serve and show His love to those around us. Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
	AWANA K-12 Ministry We offer many different opportunities for your child to get involved at Solid Rock Community Church! On Sunday mornings we have a Nursery that is available to children ages 0-2 years old and children’s church for ages 3-6 years old. On Wednesday evenings at 7pm our children meet during our adult Bible study. Each week they study a portion of God’s Word and enjoy making a small craft that is usually shared with our local nursing home residents at the end of each month. The classes available to children on Wednesday evenings are for Nursery, K-2nd graders and 3rd-5th graders. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
	Senior’s Our Senior’s ministry group currently meets the 3rd Thursday of each month for breakfast. Isaiah 46:4 And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
	Men’s Ministry Our men’s ministry is led by Eric Butler and Tyler Callahan. On the third Sunday of each month we meet for fellowship during Sunday breakfast around 8am. We want to encourage all our men to come out and join us for this time to get to know one another. If you are visiting with us, we would love for you to come out and get to know us. We plan several activities for the men every year and look forward to ministering for the Lord!!! John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
	Sunday School We hold Sunday School each Sunday morning at 930am. We currently have a children’s class, youth class and an adult class. We believe a healthy church is directly related to the spiritual maturity of its members. We believe an important aspect of growing in the Lord is a strong Bible teaching Sunday School program. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
	Choir Solid Rock Community Church currently has an adult worship choir that continues to expand! We practice every other Sunday afternoon at 430pm so we can continue to learn songs that are Spirit filled and that glorify the Lord! We pray the Lord uses the choir to minister to our church through music each Sunday! Psalm 147:1 Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
